Mexico Day Three

Monday was another beach day with a trip into town to eat at Flavio's, souvenir shopping, Popsicles from a street vendor and Thrifty's ice cream. Then back to the beach for more beach games, sandcastles, and kayaking on perfectly calm waters. Jacob and some friends found a baby octopus.

Mexico Day Two

Jacob our early riser was up at 5:30am and wanted to go exploring. I obliged since Jonah had joined Dan and I in bed early and I wasn't really sleeping anyway. It was nice to spend time together collecting shells and three five dollar bills. Yep, we found money blowing down the beach. We were getting back some of the money we paid in our "speeding ticket" from Mexico. Afterwards, we got ready for church and went into the town of Puerto Penasco where they have a ward building and attended church in Spanish.  We like the boys to experience church whenever we travel. We then spent the afternoon exploring the beach. Since it was Sunday we asked the boys to not swim and according to them they didn't swim, just waded. You can see from their outfits that they changed several times from getting wet. Travelling with us were two other couples that we know from church. It was so much fun. They were so helpful with the boys and after the boys were in bed each night we played games together.
